To the editor:

I am writing to thank the city of Fort Dodge crews who helped clean up damaged branches and trees at our home and all across the city due to the strong storm that hit Fort Dodge.

We were out of town when the storm hit last Saturday night but when we returned we saw branches from some of our big Oak trees hanging over our fence out almost North 15th Street.

We woke up Monday morning to get ready to clean up our yard and found that the city crew had already cut up and removed the branches along the public right of way and fence.

We thank them very much and also noticed all of the other work they completed across the city. Their efforts are very much appreciated.
