To the editor:

On behalf of the Allison Huss family, we would like to thank the entire Fort Dodge community as well as extended family, friends and businesses that contributed or participated in our first annual 42STRONG Golf Tournament. The tournament and auction was a huge success, leaving us speechless and overwhelmed with emotion.

The 42STRONG Scholarship has been established in Alli’s honor to award one St. Edmond and one Fort Dodge Senior High graduating senior with a scholarship each year to the college of their choice. Alli loved being a Gael while always cheering on the Dodgers and so proud to call Fort Dodge home. It was a blessing to have Alli in our life and a true privilege to have presented the first annual 42STRONG Scholarship to this year’s recipients, John Woodruff (St. Edmond) and Madison Bennet (Fort Dodge Senior High).

Words cannot express our gratitude and heartfelt thanks for the continued love and support given to our family.

We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
