To the editor:

On behalf of the Fort Dodge Noon Lions, I would like to thank everyone who made our annual Steak Fry on May 19 a huge success. Special thanks to Russ Young and staff from Fareway meat department, Fareway grocery departments, Jason Kahler from the Corner Store, Laufersweilers, Northern Lights, Humes Distributing, The Lioness, the Stars Program and Madison and Nathan. A special thanks to all Noon Lions members who helped the day before, the day of and day after the event. Thank you to all who attended our largest fundraiser. Your support helps our club follow our motto – “We Serve” – by helping to fund our local vision projects, which include buying eyeglasses for school children, vision screening for children and the leader dog puppy program at the Fort Dodge Correctional Facility.
