Angel Ride wants a full bus

To the editor:

The 10th annual Angel Ride to Save the TaTas has started off with a bang before our July 9 event.

First of all, I would like to thank,Jodi Scott who hosted a 31 Bag party that brought in $100, Lauri Beilke hosted a Pampered Chef party with $272 coming back to Angel Ride, and to Jennifer Earnest for hosting a Scentsy party in the month of March and gave us all her commission for that month, which came to a total of $1,081.71. It takes people like this to make a big impact to help those in need, every little bit helps out.

A huge thanks to all our helpers in planning this event, we couldn’t do this without any of you. I know it takes a lot of time, but it’s all worthwhile.

A big shout out to Mark Campbell and the Amigo’s staff for letting us be at bike night down there at Amigo’s and to Iron Saddle in Dayton. We’ve started selling Angel Ride merchandise and preregistrations. Please stop down at bike nights to get registered for the July 9 ride. Thanks to Party Productions here in Fort Dodge, you can also get your Angel Ride shirts there.

I want to say a big thank you to Harold with Good Time Party Bus. He is making it possible for those people wanting to go on the ride on July 9, but don’t have a motorcycle. Those wanting to be taken to each stop the day of the event and return safely back to Amigo’s. We are hoping to fill the bus up. Please pass the word around so that we can possibly do this. Remember all the funds that we raise goes back to help out breast cancer patients with uninsured expenses such as wigs, scarfs, copays and so much more.

Remember the day of the event starts July 9 at Amigo’s in Fort Dodge, registration 9-11 a.m. $15 per person on bikes or cars and Good Time Party Bus $25 per person. Having everyone return to Amigo’s by 5 p.m. for live and silent auctions and a freewill donation and fun.

Lets make this 10th year of the Angel Ride a big success.
