Farm News Ag Show is Friday, Saturday
Full lineup of speakers set
As farmers wrap things up on the 2023 growing season, it is not too early for them to start thinking about next year’s growing season.
Farm News, a sister publication of The Messenger, is ready to help them do just that with the upcoming Ag Show.
CJ Bio America presents the 21st annual Farm News Ag Show will be Friday and Saturday at the Webster County Fairgrounds south of Fort Dodge at 22770 Old Highway 169.
The show will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. At 7:30 a.m. Saturday there will be a free pancake breakfast sponsored by Webster County Farm Bureau.
There will be a big room full of vendors and displays.
On Friday morning, U.S. Sen. Charles Grassley will answer questions in a live interview format beginning at 11:30 a.m. The lineup of other speakers includes: David Kruse, president of Commstock and a Farm News columnist; Mark Licht, associate professor and extension cropping systems specialist at Iowa State University; Miss Iowa 2023 Alysha Goethe; Matt Johnson, co-owner, dealer and director of happiness at Fort Dodge Ford Lincoln Toyota; Kelvin Liebold, farm and agribusiness management specialist for Iowa State University Extension; and Chard Hart, professor of economics at Iowa State University.
But wait, there’s more. A drawing will be held for a three-night stay for two in Branson, Missouri. Included is admission to three shows and one museum.
