Iowa Ag Expo starts Tuesday

The event is the third largest indoor farm show

What organizers say is the third largest indoor agricultural equipment show in the upper Midwest starts Tuesday and continues through Thursday at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.

The 2023 Iowa Ag Expo will feature about 700 exhibitors filling more than seven acres in three buildings.

The exhibition was started in 1910 and lots of people still know it by its original name, the Iowa Power Farming Show. That name was changed in 2020 to reflect the diversity of the show.

It will feature the best ag has to offer from big iron, precision ag, aerial imaging, livestock production, data management and more.

The location in central Iowa means farmers in the Hawkeye State can see the next big things in agriculture without incurring heavy travel expenses.

The show will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.

Parking will be available at Principal Park and shuttle buses will take people from there to the Iowa Events Center.

Admission is $10, but a $5 discount is available at iowaagexpo.com.

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this fun and educational event.
