Hillary’s email saga raises concerns

Her handling of email communications while she was secretary of state was not the “best choice,” Hillary Clinton has admitted. The Democratic front-runner for president added that she did not “stop and think” about the matter.

Stop and think about that. Clinton is admitting she did not devote much mental energy to thinking about how she, as secretary of state privy to top-secret information about U.S. defense and diplomacy, communicated with others.

It is known – to the extent that President Barack Obama’s administration has allowed information to trickle out about Clinton’s emails – that a substantial amount of classified material did flow through the private email server she used in violation of federal law. It also is known that Clinton lied repeatedly about the email system, how she used it and those with whom she communicated.

It was bad enough that Clinton, quite likely because she did not want the public to find out about her free-and-easy use of emails, did all this while she was secretary of state.

But now she wants to be president.

What else did she not “stop and think” about in the past?

And what might she not “stop and think” about in the Oval Office?
