John H. Hambleton, 90, of Dayton, Iowa, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024, at his home in Dayton. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 6, 2024, at the former Trinity Lutheran Church in Dayton. Rev. Michael Standfest & Rev. Aaron Hambleton will officiate. Inurnment will follow at the Dayton Cemetery. Military Graveside Rites will be performed by the Peterson American Legion Post #323. Vivian Gurnett, 77, of Clare, died at her home on August 17, 2024. Private services to be held. Larson-Weishaar Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Vivian was born November 6, 1946, in Manson, Iowa. She retired as a CMA at NCARF Fort Dodge, prior to that she worked for Harvest Acres and Sunny View Care Center in Rockwell City.
