Elizabeth (Beth) Prochno (Hoover) age 68, of Deephaven, MN passed away peacefully on October 17th, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.
Born April 5, 1958, Beth had a remarkable zest for life. She had a beautiful smile, an infectious laugh, and a way of making life more fun simply by being there. She loved her friends and family deeply, embraced every opportunity for an adventure, and rarely needed much convincing to join an impromptu dinner, an outing, or a trip.
She cherished her 41-year marriage to her husband, Mike, and was incredibly proud of their three sons, Kyle, Andrew, and Michael. She welcomed her daughters-in-law, Alexa, Emily, and Samantha, with love, and her three grandsons, Henry, Jackson, and Pierce, brought tremendous joy to her life. To Beth, family wasn't simply important. Family was everything.
Beth attended the University of Iowa before moving to Minnesota in 1980. Over the years, she built a rich life filled with lasting friendships. As a longtime member of Wayzata Country Club, she especially enjoyed golf and pickleball with her WCC friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 27th at 1PM at Wayzata Community Church, 125 Wayzata Blvd. E., Wayzata, MN 55391.
