Brenda May Hill (Allbee), 64, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, passed away peacefully at home on October 6, 2026.
Brenda was born on February 14, 1962, to Barb and Don Allbee. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1980. Following high school, she married Rodney Hill, and together they were blessed with three children: Jennifer, Justin, and Joseph. The couple later divorced.
Throughout her life, Brenda worked a variety of jobs, but a common thread through them all was her heart for service. Whether she was caring for others, waitressing, or lending a helping hand, she brought dedication and warmth to everything she did.
Having been born on Valentine's Day, Brenda had a lifelong love for hearts and built an impressive, treasured collection over the years. She was also widely known as the family's designated pie maker, crafting every single pie crust by hand.
She will forever be loved and missed by her longtime partner, Dusty Ridling; her children, Jennifer Dodd, Justin Hill, and Joseph (Ashley) Hill; her "favorite" son-in-law, Jeff Dodd; her grandchildren, Tavian (Makenna) Dodd, Kaylee Dodd, Abby, Nathan, Macie, Ryker, Thora Hill, Joseph II, Landon, Olivia, and Hazel Hill; her great-grandchildren, Noah and Anniyah McCloud; and her siblings, Donnie Allbee, Judy McGee, Alan (Cortney) Allbee, Shelly (Todd) Hoover, John Hays, and Paul Ray. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and many extended family members and friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Barb and Don Allbee; her in-laws, Karen and Harlan Hill, and Robert and Mary Ducote; as well as her grandparents.
The family is planning a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
