Loretta M. Zimmermann, 93, passed away peacefully Friday, August 7, 2026, at Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, August 13, at Gunderson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 14, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Fort Dodge, followed by graveside services at North Lawn Cemetery.
Loretta was born December 15, 1932, in Duncombe, Iowa, to Edward W. and Mary Edith Huitt Pearce. She graduated from Barnum High School in 1951. She married Bill C. Zimmermann on January 18, 1953, at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Loretta was a devoted member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, participating in the LWML Circle and handbell choir. She also enjoyed square dancing, camping, traveling, crafting, and reading.
She is survived by sons David (Amanda), Ricky (Anna), Larry (Kathy), Daniel (Jessica), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Mary; husband Bill; her daughters Linda and Deborah; her brothers Keith, Elvin, Delmer, Vern, Vergil, and sister Deloris.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
