Michael Davis
Michael Davis, of Pea Ridge, AR, passed away peacefully on the 5th of July, 2026 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 31st, 1946 in the city of Ane-heim, CA, Mike Davis lived a life defined by generosity, kindness, hard work, and de-votion to family.
Mike was raised in Fort Dodge, IA and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1965. He served in the US Army in the Vietnam War as a Radio Operator. Early in his life, Mike worked at Bush Hog and Hormel, but spent the majority of his career em-ployed by Walmart, including the stores in Fort Dodge, IA, Grand Rapids, MN and Pineville, MO. Beyond work, Mike had several deep passions, which included fishing, roundy-round (NASCAR), working on anything and everything in “Papa’s Shop” and most of all, he loved the Iowa Hawkeyes – Go Hawks!! One of his favorite things in life was summer vacations on Turtle River Lake North of Bemidji.
Michael Davis is survived by his beloved spouse of 55 years, Mary (Marquesen) Davis; his children, Jennifer (Frank) Galvin of Golden, MO, Christopher (Molly) Davis of Ben-tonville, AR, Lynn Davis-Marquesen of Pea Ridge, AR, and Lisa Davis of Pea Ridge, AR as well as 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Dennis (Donna) Davis and Ron (Robin) Davis and sister, Penny Tracy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth F. Davis and Juanita (Bittner) Davis.
Mike will forever be remembered as a family man, committed to providing, support-ing, loving and always being there for any family member needing support. He loved all his children and his wife Mary deeply. His departure will leave hole that is not pos-sible to fill.
A family gathering to celebrate Mike’s life will be held in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the National Democratic Party ( ActBlue). Michael Davis will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
