Grant E. Stimson, age 83, of West Des Moines, formerly of Pocahontas, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines, surrounded by the people he loved most.
Funeral Mass is 11:00 AM, Friday, May 1, 2026, at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church in Pocahontas, Iowa, with Fr. Paul Nguyen as celebrant.
Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery in Pocahontas.
Visitation is from 4 – 6 PM, Thursday, April 30th, at Powers Funeral Home in Pocahontas.
