Duane Peterson
Duane Lee Peterson, 83, of Harcourt, Iowa, died at Mary Greeley Hospital surrounded by loved ones on March 27, 2026.
He was born July 2, 1942 to Theodore and Georgia Peterson in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Duane was baptized, confirmed, and married at Faith Lutheran Church in Harcourt, Iowa.
Duane is survived by his wife Doris (Ray) Peterson. They would have celebrated 63 years of marriage on June 8. He is also survived by sons Michael (Carolyn) and Mark (Kim) and sister Diane. He has five grandchildren: Britton Stotler, Alex Peterson, and Logan Peterson and Abby (Will) Stanek and Hannah (Andrew) Larson; and three great-grandchildren: Reid Stanek and Ada and Ellie Larson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Don Peterson, and Charlie and Esther Christiansen.
