Carole Williams
Carole was born on November 3rd, 1942, in Waterloo, Iowa to Edward Darrow and Mae (Grove) Darrow. She married Kenneth (Doc) Williams on July 25th, 1959, in Fort Dodge. She and Doc owned and operated Doc’s Corner for many years. All of their customers soon became friends. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved playing Words with Friends, reading and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Laura VanVacter.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Doc. Daughter Kelle (Jerry) VanVacter, Duncombe. Son David (Kate) Williams, Earlham. Grandchildren Justen, Leah, Caleb, Lennox, Reed and Rowan. Great-grandchildren Alayna, Oliver, Isla, Elowyn, Ulias, Loralai, Dakota and Vivian.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 23rd at Gunderson Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
