Alice Lessmeier
Alice Jean Lessmeier, 88, of Eagle Grove, Iowa, formerly of Fort Dodge, passed away peacefully at home on March 26, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Alice Jean “Jeanie” Asche was born December 29, 1937, in Clarion, Iowa, to Alice and Angle Asche.
She is survived by her children, one stepdaughter, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Dean “Les” Lessmeier, parents, siblings, two stepsons, a son-in-law, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held May 2, 2026, from 3-6 p.m. at Rails Depot in Eagle Grove, IA.
