Darlene Teague
Darlene G. Teague, 92, died Feb. 22, 2026, at home surrounded by loved ones. The visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, Feb 25 at Gunderson Funeral Home.
Services will be 10:00am on Thursday at St Paul Lutheran Church. Interment will be held at Otho Cemetery followed by celebration reception at Otho Community Center.
Darlene Gertrude (Hunt) Teague, was born July 20, 1933, in Carroll, Iowa. Darlene graduated from Glidden High School. In 1956, Darlene married Clayton Teague, and the couple made their home in Otho, where she put down roots and devoted herself to raising her family, becoming a beloved part of the community. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children, Randy of Florence, AZ, Renee of Westminster, CO and Becky (Tom) Krough of Otho, IA; six grandchildren, Nathan, Jessica, Allison, Hannah, Corrina, and Layla; 4 great grandchildren; her siblings Doris Brumback, Leland (Marge) Hunt, Donnie (Debbie) Hunt, and sister-in-law Barbara Hunt. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clayton in 2004, her brothers Gerald and Cecil, brother-in-law Bob Brumback, and her parents Albert and Gertrude (Bushman) Hunt.
Darlene will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Memorials may be directed towards the Otho Betterment Committee.
