Anthony “Tony” Marino
Anthony S. Marino, 85, of Fort Dodge, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Trinity Regional Medical Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Holy Trinity Church. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be one hour prior at the church. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
Tony is survived by his niece Quinta (Paul) McGruder of Mingo, cousins Marion (Roger) Messa, Marcia (Al) Smith, and other cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Mary (Messa) Marino and wife Ann in 2023.
Anthony S. Marino was born February 3, 1940, in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated in Fort Dodge, graduating from Saint Edmond High School in 1958. On October 25, 1980, Tony was united in marriage to Ann Becker and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge. Tony worked for Pan-O-Gold Bakery, American Can Company, Iowa Central Community College, and various restaurants: Applebee's, Mineral City, and Village Inn. Tony was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and an avid sports fan.
