Sue Duvall

Sue Ann Duvall, daughter of Milo and Helen (Lichty) Clark, was born on a farm near Irwin, Iowa. She was the consummate tough farm girl who walked uphill both ways to school in the snow. Following high school graduation, she earned her teaching degree from UNI. On June 11, 1955, Sue married the late John K. Duvall in Manilla, Iowa. The couple made their home and raised their family in Fort Dodge. Sue was the office manager for three Iowa Congressmen there and loved following politics. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church, where she served for years.

Sue leaves behind her children, Jon Duvall (Debra) of Centennial, CO, sons Jacob and Jonah, Bradd Duvall (Valerie) of Brentwood, TN and son John-Luke and daughter Ariana (Joseph Trice and daughter London) and Ann McMahon of Grimes, IA, son Matthew Jr. and daughters Alyssa, son Landon and Jenna, son Jaden. She was very involved in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and served her family well. Her biting sense of humor provided the family much joy and laughter.
