Gene Rydman

It’s with a heavy heart we regret to inform the community of the unexpected passing of our beloved father, Gene Rydman, on August 12th, 2025. The Lord took him peacefully home. He is survived by his daughter, Kristi (Pat), his son Brad, his sister, Marlene, his granddaughter, Ashley (Cameron) and his two great-grandchildren, Ariat and Collins. Gene was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa. His family were farmers until his parents retired and sold the farm. He lived in Algona, Iowa, for several years before making the move to Mesa, AZ, and then to Tucson, AZ. He owned a Culligan Water dealership in Algona for several years before transferring to Culligan Water in Arizona. He was a kind soul with a big heart who truly loved his family, friends and relatives. I know he is at peace in heaven with his wife and love of his life, Dena (passed 2-18-23) watching over us. He wouldn’t want us to be sad but to move forward in life with joy and happiness. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be held next year in Fort Dodge where he will be laid to rest by his wife. A notice will be posted in the Fort Dodge Messenger a few months ahead of time with date/time/location. A celebration of life in Tucson, AZ, will also be held in a few weeks. Details for both will be posted on his Facebook page and emailed to family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
