Todd Wood
Todd Wood, 55, of Fort Dodge, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at his home. Services will be 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel with Pastor Nathan Lawrence of Prairie Lake Church officiating. Burial will be in the North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday at the Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge.
Todd William Wood, the son of William and Frances (Schleuger) Wood, was born August 11, 1969, in Fort Dodge. Todd was a 1987 graduate of Gowrie High School. On February 23, 1991, Todd was united in marriage to Robin Reis at the First Baptist Church in Fort Dodge. After their marriage the couple made Fort Dodge their home. Todd, along with Robin, owned and operated TC Roadshow Video for several years. At the time of Todd's passing he was employed at the Fort Dodge Messenger as their Farm News Manager. He has worked at the Messenger for the past 10 years.
Todd enjoyed hunting, fishing and Fantasy Football but he loved the New York Yankees. He was a member of Prairie Lakes Church in Fort Dodge
Todd is survived by his wife, Robin; their two children, Tiffani (Seth) Elledge of Charlotte, NC and Cortney (Brandon) Thompson of Fort Dodge and one grandchild, Archie Marie Thompson. He is all so survived by his mother, Frances Wood; a sister, Kimberly (Scott) Jondle of Callender and a brother, Tom (Laura) Wood of Fort Dodge; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Todd is preceded in death by his father William (Bill) Wood and a grandchild.
