Carol Steinberg
Carol L. Steinberg, 88, of Tipton, formerly of Manson, died Sunday, June 1, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, following complication of a stroke.
Celebration of Life services were held Saturday, June 7, at the Fry Funeral Home in Tipton. Burial will be held at a later date.
Survivors include her children, Shannon (Mark) McHugh, Jefferson, Devon Saunders, Plainfield, Illinois, Amber (Russell) Moeller, Tipton, and Clayton Steinberg, Omaha, Nebraska; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Lorine Malone; husband, Raymond in 2019; and siblings, Royce Malone and Audrey Stout.
Carol Lee Malone was born April 10, 1937 in Charter Oak. She graduated from Charter Oak High School and pursued her talents at LaJames College of Hairstyling. She married Raymond Steinberg in 1964 at Rockwell City. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she was deeply devoted to her faith, her family and her community. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manson. She shared her love of the arts with the Manson Meridian Singers and the Manson Community Theater.
