Joanne Dohrman

She is survived by twin brother Jerry (Arlene), Minnetonka, niece Deanne, St. Paul, and nephew Douglas (Alane) and their sons Cameron and Mitchell, Snohomish, WA. Predeceased by parents Daisy and Ernest Dohrman, Farnhamville, IA, and her sister Gloria Dohrman.

She graduated from Gowrie High School, Iowa State Teachers College, and received her masters at Drake University. As an adult, she studied piano at St. Olaf and art at Dakota Technical Institute.

She was a long-time elementary school teacher and enjoyed following the careers of her students.

Her faith and trust in God provided guidance for a life well-lived. Thank you to her caregivers at Three Links – Cottage on Forest.

A funeral service for Joanne and a memorial for Gloria will be held at 11:00AM, on Friday, May 9, 2025, with visitation one hour prior at Trinity Lutheran Church in Northfield, followed by lunch and Joanne’s burial at Oaklawn Cemetery, Northfield.
