Janet L. Kleber-Kinseth

Janet passed away on May 10th, 2025, peacefully of natural causes at Accura Health Care Center in Carroll, Iowa, near family.

Janet, born on March 6th, 1940, was raised in Fort Dodge, Iowa, where she spent most of her life and raised a family of her own. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1958. On September 5, 1959, she was united in marriage to Joseph A. Kleber at Sacred Heart Church in Fort Dodge. Together, they had three children.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joe Kleber (1985) and Wendall Kinseth (2001); her parents, Les and Irene Carrier; her brother, Jack; and her sisters, Joyce and Jean. Janet is survived by her three children: Joe Kleber (Fran), Judy Bechen (the late Gene), and Jean Maguire (Bill). Her extended family includes 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Janet will be laid to rest during a private family burial at Corpus Christi in Fort Dodge at a later date. A lifelong animal lover, Janet had a special affection for dogs. In lieu of flowers, gifts, or memorials, the family kindly requests that donations be made on Janet’s behalf to a local Humane Society.
