Richard “Dick” Michael, 78, of Fort Dodge, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Monday, March 3, 2025, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge.
A Celebration of Dick’s Life will be 1:30 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge with Pastor Dan Kahl officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church. Burial will take place at the Pomeroy Cemetery at 4:00 PM on Tuesday. The Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements.
Those left to mourn his passing are his wife Crystal (Weiss) Michael; sister-in-law Karen Michael of Pomeroy, brother and sister-in-law Richard and Rhonda Weiss of Ames; three nephews; seven great nieces and nephews; and two cousins, Alan Schultz and Randy Engel. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in-law Jerry (Karen) Michael, sister Carol Michael, and a niece Cheryl Michael.
