Jeannine Johnson
Jeannine A. Johnson, 91, of Fort Dodge, died peacefully under hospice care at Journeys of Friendship Haven on December 28, 2024. Private family services will be held. Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with the arrangements.
Jeannine Alice Johnson, daughter of Ellsworth and Florence (Peterson) Johnson, was born April 4, 1933, in Moline, IL. She worked as an elementary teacher in her younger years and retired as a massage therapist. Jeannine had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her beloved dogs, Buddy, Holly and Kristin. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Those to cherish her memory are her children Jeanne (Jim) Knight of Fort Dodge, Kathy Henning of Seattle, WA and Bill (Anne) Henning of Eagan, MN; her grandchildren Jennifer (Josh) Anderson, Amy (Peter) Seehusen, David (Megan) Knight, Emily Knight, John Henning and Jack Henning, great grandchildren Sloan, Noel, Jovie and Miles Anderson, Owen, Thea, Henry Seehusen, Keona, Nadia and Jordy Knight.
Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
