Marsha Burch
Marsha Burch, of Harlingen TX, formerly of Humboldt, IA, passed away unexpectedly at her home, Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Marsha, along with her husband Ron founded Syntex Industries in Humboldt in 1977, until they sold their business in 2001.
After some traveling, Ron and Marsha settled at Sunshine RV Resort in Harlingen.
Marsha was very active with many friends at Sunshine Resort. She was an artist, doing paintings of many of the residence's pets, as well as designing her own line of greeting cards. She loved playing cards, dancing and socializing, spending time at South Padre Island and Progresso. She lived a beautiful and happy life.
Marsha leaves behind her two daughters, Starliene and Michelle Burch, her brother, Mason Maddox Jr., her precious fur baby Lila, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was loved by so many and will be in our hearts forever.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ron Burch, who passed away in November of 2019, her parents and one brother.
A celebration of life will be held at Sunshine RV Resort, January 7th, 2025. There will be a family memorial ceremony at North Lawn Cemetery in Fort Dodge, IA at a later date.
