Joyce Blair

Memorial visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. followed by the memorial service at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the LifeGate Fellowship Church in Humboldt. The interment will be held in the Lake City Cemetery. Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with the arrangements.

V. Joyce Dillahay, daughter of Lewis and Elise (Brinkley) Dillahay, was born August 27, 1945, in Vallejo, CA. She attended Cradock High School in Virginia. Joyce married James Blair on August 28, 1963, in Portsmouth, VA. The couple made their home in Manson, and she was employed at Kohl's and later worked for Fort Dodge Ford. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Joyce will be remembered as a very giving person, she loved to to give gifts to people. She never met a stranger and enjoyed collecting fairies and lladros.

Survivors include her children Jaymie Blair of Ellsworth, MN, and Krystal Rogers of Humboldt, grandchildren Kyle, Cody, Noah, Nolan, and Breanna, great granddaughter Esme and a great grandson on the way. Also surviving is her sister Berta Mae (Tom) Harris of Portsmouth, VA and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim, her brothers Lewis “Buddy” Dillahay and William “Billy” Dillahay and sisters Clara Parrot and Barbara Harrell, son-in-law Michael Rogers.
