Rebecca “Becky” Green
Rebecca “Becky” Green, 59, of Twin Lakes, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Trinity Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Larson-Weishaar Funeral Home in Manson. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Becky was born in Central City, NE, on February 24, 1965, to Gene and Iola (Bengtson) Fowler. She grew up in Hordville, NE, where she attended school, was the homecoming queen and then graduated as valedictorian. After graduation Becky moved to the Manson area with her brother Murray after high school. She attended Iowa Central where she obtained her CMA degree and worked at Associated Internists in Fort Dodge. Becky was united in marriage to Keith Green on March 21, 1987, in Hordville, NE. She then went on to get her Registered Nursing Degree continuing to work with Associated Internists and then Unity Point Family Medicine until she retired. Becky enjoyed traveling, going on various trips and adventures including the annual family reunions in Nebraska. She also enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and going to the casino. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Becky is survived by her husband Keith; children Kelcie (Rob) Gunderson, Brenan (Tiffany) Green, Kaylea Green (Chris Barragy); her grandchildren Henry, Lainey, Leland, Bronson and Truett; her siblings Rony (Rita) Fowler, Murray (Cheryl) Fowler, Marla (Trevor) Hansen, Rita Fowler (Cindy Vires); her in-laws Paulette Green, Sharon (Mike) Powers and Bruce (Janis) Green along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents Gene and Iola; her brother Randy Fowler; in-laws Lowell and Janice Green; brother-in-law Wayne Green and infant granddaughter Dorothy.
