Ellen Moss

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Ellen is survived by children, Lisa Moss of Eagle Grove, John (Candy) Moss of Ohio, and twins, Greg (Susan) and Teresa (Shanda Stumpf) Moss of Ankeny; nine grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

Ellen is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Shirley (Clark) Shinn; two brothers and two sisters; and recently a grandson.

Ellen Jane Moss was born on May 14, 1952, in Platteville, WI. She was raised and educated in Webster City, graduating from Webster City High School. In 1973, Ellen married Lyle Moss; the couple later divorced. Ellen worked for Electrolux for 37 years until retiring in 2011.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
