Cindy Reed, age 58, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Accura Health in Ogden. Memorial services will be 1 pm Saturday, June 22nd, at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home in Fort Dodge with Rev. John Elkin officiating. Visitation will be noon until service time. Cindy Sue Reed, the daughter of Robert E. and LaVonne J. (Gabrielson) Reed, was born on February 20, 1966, in Iowa City, Iowa. She graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1985. Cindy resided at The Villa from 2017 to 2023 before moving to Ogden. Cindy was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church and Friendship Center Judy Warwick Wellness and Recovery.
Cindy was an avid pro wrestling fan and enjoyed watching WWE Wrestling on TV. She also enjoyed board games, card games, playing games on her phone and collecting unicorns.
Left to cherish Cindy’s memory is her daughter, Jessica Lynn Reed of Fort Dodge, and an adopted daughter, Brittany (Andrew) Brewer-Wing of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Mia-Bella Johnson and Ezra-Lee Brewer-Wing of Fort Dodge; and a brother-in-law, James Burrus of Middleburg, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lloyd Reed; a sister, Joanna Burrus; and a grandson, Lestat Schmeltz.
