Scott Weiland

Survivors include his wife, Karen (Kahler) Weiland; parents Garret and Leola (Uhlenhopp) Weiland; sister Cynthia (Weiland) Salvatore and her husband Tony: nephew, Matt Salvatore and his wife, Katie, and their son Lane; niece Jessica (Salvatore Parker and her husband, Cooper, and their children Raleigh and Jovie; sister-in-law, Annamarie Kahler.

Scott graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1978 and continued his education, graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He went on to build single family homes, then moved on to commercial construction building hotels, medical centers and health complexes. He loved everything construction. Additionally, he was an avid fan of everything Land Rover and had a vast collection of Hawaiian shirts which he wore no matter the continent, season or temperature.

A visitation will be held at the Celebration Center at Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge, Iowa on May 8th, 2-4 p.m. with a family prayer service following.
