Raymond Witzke

Raymond E. Witzke, 80, died May 14, 2024, at the Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City. Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with the arrangements. Graveside and military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery.

Raymond Eugene Witzke, son of Raymond A. and Marjorie (White) Witzke, was born February 5, 1944, in Storm Lake, Iowa. After completion of high school, he graduated from Ellsworth Community College. Raymond served his country in the U.S. Army for 15 years and as law enforcement in Rockwell City. He was united in marriage to Kathryn Smith on June 12, 1965.

Raymond is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Serena Witzke of Marshfield, MO, and daughter Stacy Witzke of Fort Dodge, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, his half-brother Cal Witzke. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Kathryn and his son Lyle.
