Gary Dutcher

Gary Lee Dutcher Jr., 57, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice House after a long battle with cancer. A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Gary was born in Fort Dodge on November 13, 1966. He graduated from St. Edmond High School and Buena Vista University and was employed by Elanco for 35 years. Gary was united in marriage to Marcia on May 20, 1989. Gary loved playing guitar, playing golf and Michigan football.

Gary is survived by his wife Marcia; son Michael (Nikki) Dillehay; grandchildren Maize, Sophie and Wyatt Dillehay; his mother Judy Dutcher; siblings David (Chris) Dutcher, Christie Weimers, Trishia (Danny) Craft and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Gary Dutcher.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
