Molly Barlow

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with the arrangements.

Molly Rae Siefert was born on September 7, 1984. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 2003 and earned her cosmetology degree from LaJames. She married Duran Barlow, and they were blessed with 3 daughters. Molly currently owned and operated “Top Knot” salon and was more than a hairdresser as many of her clients were close friends. Being a mom was her absolute favorite thing in the world. Molly enjoyed the annual summer trips to Adventureland with her girls and Grandma P.

Those to forever cherish her memory are her daughters Brooklyn, Paige and Evie, her father Kirk Siefert, her stepfather Kyle Ver Steeg, her siblings McKay Siefert (Erin Green), Katie (Thomas) Rees, her nephews McKay and Jensen and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death with her mother Phyllis Ver Steeg, her maternal grandparents Don and Darlene Baedke, her stepmom Ellen Ostbloom.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Barlow girls at Northwest Bank, Fort Dodge. Memorial gifts can be taken directly to Northwest Bank or checks may be written to their co-guardian Amanda Albright or Katie Rees.
