Elizabeth Lund

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday at Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Badger Lutheran Church. A private interment will be held at a later date in the Newark Township Cemetery.

Elizabeth Ann Pergande was born on February 11, 1934, in LuVerne, Iowa. She graduated from high school and college. She taught school in West Bend from 1954 – 1956. On May 27, 1956, Liz married Gordon Lund and the couple made their home on a farm near Vincent. She was a member of Badger Lutheran Church and was an active volunteer for Sunday school and sewing circle, a member of the Badger 39ers, volunteered at Operation Christmas, and she enjoyed sewing, gardening and her grandkids.

Survivors include her son Arthur Lund, her step-daughters Trudy Langford, Cheryl Ott, Linda Montgomery, and Anna Moore; 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great’s.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon in 2013, her sister Evelyn Pettigrew and her parents Edward and Anna (Voss) Pergande.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the charitable discretion of the family.
