Duran Barlow
Duran Barlow, 41, of Fort Dodge, died tragically at his home on January 28, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Saint Olaf Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. Sunday until the time of service at St. Olaf Church. Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with the arrangements.
Duran Michael Barlow was born September 21, 1982, in Fort Dodge. He graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 2001. He was married to Molly Siefert, and they were blessed with three beautiful daughters, Brooklyn, Paige, and Evie. Duran was employed with Decker Trucking and served in numerous capacities there. He loved the outdoors; hunting and fishing and enjoyed spending time with and teaching his daughters those skills as well. He was an excellent cook; smoking meat was his specialty.
Survivors include his daughters, Brooklyn, Paige and Evie, his mother Krista Ciucyk (Kenny Coon), his sister Jamie (Nick) Lara, his nephews Triston, Jaydan, Cayd; aunt Nancy Barlow, cousins Sloane and Shane Barlow and uncle David Salisbury, cousins Brooke and Bridget Salisbury, uncle Mike (Sue) Stone, cousins Nick and Brandi Stone, Werner (Deb) Ciucyk, his work and 2nd family Don and Diane Decker. He was preceded in death by his wife Molly, his father Steve Barlow and his paternal grandparents Ruth and John Barlow and maternal grandparents Peter and Berta Ciucyk, his uncle Jim Barlow, aunt Linda.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Barlow girls at Northwest Bank, Fort Dodge. Memorial gifts can be taken directly to Northwest Bank or checks may be written to Amanda Albright or Katie Rees.
