Shirley Waddell

Shirley is survived by her children Rick (Stephanie) Waddell of Spirit Lake, Mike (Judy) Waddell of Fort Dodge, Pat (Rhonda) Waddell of Fort Dodge; 9 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and sister, Connie Patterson of North Glenn, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Dorothy (White) Webb; husband Richard Waddell in 2004; and brother Keith Webb.

Shirley Lou Webb was born June 11, 1930 at home on a farm near Bradgate. The family moved to Fort Dodge in her junior high years and she attended schools in Fort Dodge. She was united in marriage to Richard Waddell on October 19, 1947 and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge. Shirley was a homemaker raising her 3 boys. The family moved to the Spirit Lake area and then back to the Fort Dodge in the late 80's where they managed an apartment complex until their retirement. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
