Scott Thomas Kennedy

Scott was born November 28, 1946, in Kingsville, TX but grew up in Fort Dodge. After graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, he established a practice in Biloxi, MS. He eventually moved back to Fort Dodge assisting his father managing H.T. Kennedy Distributing. Scott later became regional manager for HD Supply until his retirement. Upon retirement he moved to Indian Trail, NC. to be close to his family and year-round golf opportunities.

Scott loved his family and friends and will be dearly missed by his wife Cari, children, and grandchildren – Chad (Krista) Kennedy, Max & Olivia, Heather Kennedy-Rude, Brayton & Halle, and Rene Kennedy (John) Stevens, Kaitlin and Chloe, as well as by his sister, Karol (Jim) Potratz, and nieces and nephews, Tristin, Kyle, Tieryn, Sarah, Ben, Jenny, Tyler.

Scott was preceded in death by parents, HT and Shirley Kennedy and brother Marc.

A Celebration of Life will be held January 20th (Noon – 2pm) at Olde Boston in Fort Dodge for family and friends.
