Lawrence Kopp
Lawrence Kopp, of Lakeville, MN, passed away Saturday, November 4th, 2023. Larry is survived by his wife Marsha Kopp, his son Anthony (Kelly) Kopp of Farmington, Minnesota, and siblings Mayre Menard of Lincoln, NE, Patty (Don) Koch of Deforest, WI, and Teresa Wolfe (Gary) of Fort Dodge. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Kalcie and Margaret (Crowley) Kopp and siblings Carol Lack, Kalcie Kopp, Norma Robbins, Richard Kopp, and Lorraine Peterson.
Larry Kopp was born May 23, 1945, in Fort Dodge. Larry was drafted out of college to serve in the U.S. Army and served with the Military Police Battalion in Nuremberg, Germany. He returned to get his degree in Finance/Business at the University of Iowa. He was united in marriage to Marsha Abbas shortly after he returned home from the service. They married on May 13, 1972, both finding the love of their lives and spent 51 happily married years together.
Larry will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of life will take place in Fort Dodge, IA, around his birthday this upcoming May.
