SIDS Walk on Saturday

The Iowa SIDS Foundation will host the 24th annual Walk For the Future event at seven locations across Iowa this weekend, including at Oleson Park in Fort Dodge.

Registration on Saturday begins at 10:30 a.m., with the walk starting at 11:30 a.m. There will be a raffle and silent auction to benefit the Iowa SIDS Foundation, as well as a memorial event and kids activities.

The Iowa SIDS Foundation provides support to families who have lost a child to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and works to educate families and health care professionals, and help fund medical research on unexpected sleep related infant deaths.
