KEVIN PARKS

Kevin Parks, 55, of Fort Dodge, died August 19, 2023, at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Otho Community Center.

Kevin Dean Parks, son of Thomas and Kay (Peterson) Parks, was born December 15, 1967, in Fort Dodge. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1986. On June 11, 1994, Kevin married Tracy Messerly and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge. For over 30 years Kevin worked for Tom Thumb Drive Inn and was the bakery manager. Kevin enjoyed being busy, always doing something whether it was woodworking, building or fixing. He will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his wife, Tracy Parks; his children, Laci Parks (Tristian McCuddin) and Austin Parks; his grandson Knox; his brother Doug Parks and sister Deb Brayton. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sibling Tom Parks, Jeff Parks, and Cindy MacDonald.
