Dan was a meticulous carpenter, specifically a cabinet builder. All his work was finished perfectly. He shared that love of building with his sons and his grandsons, who spent hours with him in his workshop. Dan traveled often but he found peace and comfort during his time attending White House Catholic Retreats. Loving the outdoors, Dan kayaked, golfed, and rode dirt bikes. He took annual trips to Pitkin Colorado with his kids riding through the mountains. Dan also liked to read and always had a good book handy.

Memorials may be left to family discretion.
