Two graduate from Northwestern College

Ruth Chalstrom, of Moorland, and Karisa Meier, of Badger, graduated recently from Northwestern College in Orange City.

Meier graduated summa cum laude with a grade point average of 3.9 or higher, according to an announcement from the college. She majored in English teaching and secondary education.

Chalstrom majored in social work.
