JULIE BETHEL
Julie Ann (Fevold) Bethel, 71, of rural Otho, died Thursday, April 27, 2023 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home after a long battle with cancer. Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Fort Dodge will handle Julie’s wishes for cremation.
A private service will be held at West Lawn Cemetery in Lehigh, Iowa. She is survived by her son, Dan Bethel, and his wife Misty of Lehigh; granddaughters Allison and Danielle Bethel; and sister-in-law Jackie Fevold. Julie Ann (Fevold) Bethel, the daughter of Ardell and Veda Fevold was born, August 28, 1951, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Julie graduated from Humboldt High School in 1969. She was united in marriage to William “Chuck” Bethel at the First United Methodist Church in Fort Dodge. Chuck and Julie farmed in the Lehigh and Otho areas for many years. The family takes comfort in knowing that Julie is no longer in pain or suffering and is at peace. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
