She is survived by her children Richard (Crystal) Newbrough, Kathleen (Andrew) Eck, David (Aimee) Newbrough and Robert (Amy) Newbrough, son-in-law Mark Opperman, 19 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren (with another one expected in January 2023) and six great-great-grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, sons Michial and Patrick Besaw, daughter Jacqueline Opperman, her daughter-in-law, three grandchildren, one brother and five sisters.

Private family services will be held with burial at Union Cemetery. Please remember Helen in your own special way. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Humboldt Care Centers North and South and St. Croix Hospice for their loving care and support.
