VIVIAN L. KLINGSON
Vivian L. Klingson, 92, of Fort Dodge, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022, at her home.
Private family services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Fulton Lutheran Church in Roelyn with Rev. Jim Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Callender Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Palmer Funeral Home, Gowrie. Family requests that masks be worn.
Vivian is survived by her children Randy Hanson of Dallas, TX; Sandy (Keith) Strutzenberg of Chandler, AZ; Steven (Bixi) Hanson of Callender; Cindy (Duane) Schuttler of Manson; Lori (John) Morse of Manson; and James Hanson of Fort Dodge; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and brother, Marvin (Marge) Mortensen.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jens and Mona (Robertson) Mortensen; husbands, Harold Demien, Henry Hanson and Donald Klingson; son Craig Hanson; and granddaughter, Megan Vance.
Vivian Louise Klingson was born November 19, 1929, in Scranton, IA. She graduated from Somers High School. She was a homemaker and raised her 7 children. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, and traveling. She was an active member of Fulton Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
