HUMBOLDT — Marcele M. Allen, 89, of Humboldt, passed away on Wednesday evening, January 12, 2022 at Mercy West Lakes in West Des Moines.

She is survived by her husband Ed, her children Marcia (Brian) Johnson, Richard (Diane) Allen, Mike (Nancy) Allen, Doug (Gwen) Allen and Randy (Susan) Allen, her grandchildren Michele, Kristine, Jessie, Nick, Jason, Justin, Joey, Billy, Donna, Hilary, Natalie, Heidi, Jenni, Amber and Aimee, 29 great-grandchildren, her brother Larry (Karen) Leach and her sister Vivian Andregg. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Andy, brother Roger Leach and her grandson Christopher Lee.

Private family burial will be held at Union Cemetery in Humboldt. Plans are being made for a public memorial in the spring. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service of Humboldt is in charge of the arrangements.
