DUANE LEO JOHNSON

Duane Leo Johnson, 86, of Badger, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022, at UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge.

Services will be 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at St. Paul Lutheran Church and School with Rev. Kendall Meyer officiating.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church and School. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Dodge. The Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements.

Duane Leo Johnson, the son of Arthur and Charlotte (Hovick) Johnson, was born March 13, 1935, on his parents farm near Thor, Iowa.

Duane is survived by his wife, Gladys; their three children, Laurie (Bill) Miller of Winterset, Iowa; Jeff (Rhonda) Johnson of Story City, Iowa; and Diane (Doug) Martin of Fort Dodge; nine grandchildren: Rachel (Jes) Behrens; Kristin (Adam) Dunphy, Jenn (Tyler) Belling; Tanner, Teagan, Tessa and Tayte Johnson, Nick Shaw and Tristan Shaw: five great grandchildren; Farrah, Brody, Colt, Jaxon and Bowen. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Ardis Larson.
