CURTIS BOWMAN

Curtis Bowman, 49, of Fort Dodge, died January 17, 2022 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Memor­ial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Cele­bration Center of Friendship Haven. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services is entrusted with the arrangements.

Curtis Neil Bowman was born November 6, 1972, in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from St. Paul Lutheran School and from Texas A & M. He worked in wildlife conservation at the Fort Worth Nature Center. Curtis worked in the Peace Corps in NW Poland and returned to Texas and took training to become an EMT and later a respiratory therapist. He moved to Fort Dodge in 2017 and was employed at UnityPoint.

Curtis enjoyed gardening, feeding birds, and connecting with family.

Survivors include his parents Gary and Mary (Yates) Bowman, his cousins Rampi Gulati of CA and Pavi Gulati of Spain, their father Ram Gulati. He was preceded in death by his brother Brian, his maternal grandparents June and Glen Yates and paternal grandparents Mabel and Milton Bowman.
